Bettye
Bullock, CPC was a successful figure in the San Antonio Staffing industry well
before her entrepreneurial debut. Prior to establishing Bullock Personnel
in 1981, she developed many years of high-level experience in production,
training and management at the San Antonio offices of both a national and local
staffing firm. Bullock's success there as well as her exceptional
leadership of Bullock Personnel, marked a distinguished career that ended with
your retirement in 1994. That year, she sold her business to a longtime,
top-producing employee - current company president Janet Connell.
Reflecting on the company's evolution over
the past two decades, Connell points with pride to a diversifying client base,
increasing job placements and a growing team. What hasn't changed, she
says is the nature of Bullock Personnel's service. "Bettye
envisioned a company that would shift the hiring burden away from employers by
doing its job superbly. The personal attention we provide clients and
applicants sets us apart in the marketplace, as does our commitment to making
that magical match for every job opening."
Proving
All Personnel Services Are Not the Same
Bullock Personnel's resources and
capabilities are on a par with those of its best-known competitors. But
the company's dynamic team separates it from the rest. "Our
consultants' initiative understanding of employers' needs arises from their
uncommonly close client relationships," Connell explains.
"Rather than simply sending employers a pack of available applicants, our
team gives each assignment thorough, deliberate consideration to arrive at
three to five highly qualified candidates

Industry-wide recognition has become the
norm for Bullock Personnel recruiters, whose dedication and performance have
merited numerous distinctions from state and local associations. In 2002
alone, the San Antonio Association of Personnel Consultants and its statewide
counterpart together issued four top-10 rankings for company recruiters.

A
Down-Home Advantage: Texans Serving Texans
According to Connell, Bullock Personnel
enjoys another important advantage in the San Antonio marketplace - its status
as a locally owned business. "Texas is quite unique. We know
our market and how to service that market. Our familiarity and synergy
with our clients have allowed us to narrow the placement process down to a
science."
Small private companies and international
corporations throughout San Antonio turn to Bullock Personnel for permanent
placement at every organizational level - from administrative to upper-level
executive. In response to community health care providers' growing
demand, Bullock Personnel recently added a medical placement division - an area
that is now a very active part of its business.
