For 24 years, Bullock Personnel has been synonymous with the
staffing industry. Bettye Bullock, CPC, began her career in the industry in San
Antonio in the 70's, when fees were paid exclusively by the applicant!
After several very successful years, she moved to another
well-known staffing firm where she quickly rose to the top in production,
training, and management.
She opened several offices and developed many of the city's top
producers before moving into the entrepreneurial arena and establishing Bullock
Personnel in 1981. Once again, she trained and developed San Antonio's top
producers, and as a result the company remains a leader in the staffing
industry and in direct-hire.
During the 80's her office grew to 14 staffing
consultants...all successful! When the economy took a downturn, she was
resourceful enough to turn her efforts to a healthier location, and Bullock
Personnel of Orange County was born. That office remained profitable for the 5
years it existed.
In 1994, with many years behind her, Ms. Bullock sold the
company to her top producer and long term employee, Janet Connell.
Janet joined Bullock Personnel in 1986, with 2 years industry
experience. She quickly rose to the top in the administrative support arena,
and has remained 1st or 2nd in production in the city ever since! She hired,
trained and developed staffing consultants, managed the operations in San
Antonio, and led the company in it's annual successes at both city and state
levels.
Under Janet's direction, Bullock Personnel remains San
Antonio's leading direct hire firm. Their reputation for excellence stems from
their original philosophy of matching and qualifying candidates, strong
customer attention, use of the latest testing and screening methods available,
and having a hands-on approach with both the applicant as well as the client.
Sending qualified candidates instead of available applicants
creates a long-term career relationship between the client and employee, which
has been the key to their success!
